Horse Rides

Trail rides begin on the Forest View Farms property and take adjacent trails through the Cook County Forest Preserve. Rides are offered daily from 9:00am to 4:45pm, weather permitting. Every trail ride is accompanied by a Forest View Farms trail guide, and group rides will be limited to 8 people. Reservations are strongly recommended. Place your reservation by calling the farm office at (708) 560-0306.

• Riders must be at least 9 years of age with feet able to reach stirrups. No double-riding of parent and child is allowed.
• Anyone under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present to fill out a release form. (Form can be emailed in advance, if requested.)
• Riders must be under 250 pounds.
• Helmets are strongly recommended, but not required. Helmet rental is available.
• $5 Cook County Trail License Required.

Standard Ride (Advance Reservation Recommended)
1 hour: $35.00 cash per person/$38.00 credit per person

Private Ride (Advance Reservation Required, Morning Rides ONLY)
1 hour: $50.00 cash per person/$53.00 credit per person

School and Scout Groups
30 minute or 1-hour rides + optional Barn Tour add on. Please call for pricing.
